>> Raps Unable To Contain Kobe <<

LOS ANGELES - The Lakers have worked their way back to the top of the Western Conference. They'll be hard-pressed to stay there in the coming days.

Kobe Bryant scored 10 of his 34 points in the final 8 1/2 minutes, Lamar Odom added 20 points and nine rebounds, and the Lakers beat the Toronto Raptors 117-108 on Tuesday night for their 18th win in 22 games.

Next comes a rugged four-game road trip starting Friday night in New Orleans, with games at Houston, Dallas and Utah to follow. The four teams have a cumulative record of 168-86 including 101-26 at home, and if the Rockets win games against Atlanta and Charlotte beforehand, they'll be shooting for their 22nd straight win against the Lakers on Sunday. Bosh's Return Still Uncertain

Chris Bosh was only supposed to miss a few games for the Raptors, but he continues to be sidelined with a lingering knee injury, according to the Toronto Star.

"He's made some progress and it's a little slower than obviously he and everyone would like," said Bryan Colangelo. "Was there concern last year when he had something similar? Yeah, there's always concern. You want your players healthy, especially your best player," Colangelo added. [Read More]

>> Raptors Hold Off Seattle <<

TORONTO - There were nights early in the season when Rasho Nesterovic didn't play at all. But rather than sulk about his situation in the post-game locker-room, the veteran Toronto Raptors centre would head upstairs to the practice gym and run.

Now, with all-star forward Chris Bosh sidelined with a knee injury, and Nesterovic manning the frontcourt, those nights are paying off.

Nesterovic scored 17 points in another solid performance Sunday to lead Toronto to a 114-106 win over the Seattle SuperSonics, the Raptors' fifth consecutive game without Bosh.
"Rasho is a pro," said Raptors coach Sam Mitchell. "He never complains and is always ready to play. That's something our young players need to learn from." [Read More]

>> RAPTORS Take Out Anger On The HEAT <<

Toronto 108, Miami 83 (F)

MIAMI, March 5 (AP) -- Rasho Nesterovic scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Jamario Moon added 14 points and the Toronto Raptors embarrassed the Miami Heat for the second time this season, winning 108-83 Wednesday night to snap a three-game losing streak.

Anthony Parker and Andrea Bargnani each scored 12 points for Toronto, but Bargnani's night will be best remembered by a scary collision with Miami's Alexander Johnson that knocked the 2006 No. 1 overall pick out of the game early in the third quarter. [Read More]
